Date night!!
Last night was nice. We went to Outback for dinner. I just love the bread and salads. I also had the coconut shrimp although they were so big that I only ate 3 of them! I'll have to work it off at the gym tonight! We had a couple drinks which kinda cracked me up. I had a beer and Kevin had a mixed fruity peach drink. I said it seems like I should be having the mixed drink and he should be having the beer! We then went to a store close by because I wanted to find a candle garden but I walked out with a new pair of exercise pants. They are so cute too. Dark gray with pink and white stripes down the side of the leg. So after that we went to Starbucks. I got a Pumpkin Spice Latte. It was good, well what I drank of it. We decided to come on home and as we were going through the door Kev's hand hit my cup and it landed all over the floor. I was so bummed! I have a feeling Kevin will come home with one in his hand after work tonight.Brenden woke up this morning hacking. He sounded awful! After a cup of water and a dose of "Tussin" he seemed to perk up. He didn't have a fever and still wanted to go to school. So I sent in a note saying he woke up coughing and if he seemed to get worse etc to please call me to come get him. So we'll see where this goes. So really that's all. I need to thaw something for dinner and tonight I will hit the gym. Tonight is a big TV night so I will definitely be at home at 8!!

Open House....
I was just thinking this morning how FAST this year has gone by! Hard to belive my dad died 9 months ago today. :-(Last night we had Brenden's Open House at school. It went well. His teacher said he is doing well and that he's smart etc... I was happy to hear all that. It was also neat to get to meet some of his friends as well. We also got to meet some of the parents. I think there was a pretty good turn out. I really liked seeing Brenden's journal they do at school. We saw some other work he's been doing and I was just so proud of him! So anyway it went well. FIL and MIL came over to watch Claire which was really nice of them. I am sure she enjoyed that. Not much really going on today. I think I will nap when Claire naps. We stayed up late watching The Office( It was SO funny!!) and Grey's and E.R. Then we laid in bed till 11:30 talking about the open house etc... Of course I had crazy dreams all night so I did not feel rested at all this morning! So I will nap and this evening I will hit the gym. Hope everyone has a fab weekend!! :-)

Thursday!

Well I just got back in from the gym a little bit ago. I went at 6:30 and got back right at 7:30. I like going to the gym in the morning much better I have decided. The place isn't crowded and I just like that. Brenden just got up so I will get him some breakfast in a few and he can eat while I hop in the shower. Kev is about to leave for work. He seems to be feeling a little better everyday. After Claire and I drop Brenden at school, I think we will go to the mall. I need to get a couple more outfits of exercise clothes. This evening is Open house at Brenden's school so we will go to that. my Father in law will come over to watch Claire for us. She will be excited to see PaPa. Brenden may not be too happy to go with us though. He loves to play with PaPa too! Not sure what we will do for dinner tonight. This evening will be somewhat rushed so I may just do Spaghetti. Good and quick! So anyway that's about it. Also the Volvo will be ours on Saturday! WOOHOO! Everyone have a great day, the weekends almost here!!

*Yawn*
I am SO sleepy! Kevin was up alot last night with his rib hurting. I stayed up with him to try to help him out. The doc said Friday it seems to be broken so he went for an X-Ray after work Friday. Well he called the doc Saturday to get the results but they never called back. I was fuming. Atleast they did give him lots of pain meds. So I am waiting to hear from Kevin after he calls the doc. I tried to get him to stay out of work today but he is stubborn. Hopefully the doc will tell him to take a few days off to rest. I feel so bad for him.In other news I think we are getting a new car. A guy wants to buy Kevin's Audi. He wasn't sure he wanted to sell it at first, until he heard a local news reporter wants to sell her hubby's 2000 Volvo s70. It is really nice and in good condition. He is getting it for a steal! Kevin's best friend is the executive producer for our local news so he told him about the car. So that's cool. As much as I love my Audi Wagon I told Kevin I want to drive the Volvo! So anyway really not much else going on. The kids at church yesterday were totally wild. I'll be glad that next week is the last Sunday of the month! Ok off I go to clean this house a bit! Have a great Monday everyone and say a prayer for Kevin. I know he'd appreciate it!

TGIF!
Well this week has been good. Brenden is still in love with school. i am sure that will melt with time. He wants to do his homework as soon as he gets home everyday. He got a note home on monday which was last weeks behavior report. I guess we'll get them weekly. It said he was doing well in class etc. It did say they have to talk about his tone on occasion but he quickly changes the behavior and apologizes which I was glad to hear. So, so far so good it seems. :-)As for me I have lost 3 1/2 lbs since I started the gym last month. More than losing weight, I just want to tone up. I'm on my way and enjoying it. Claire and I have been enjoying some us time. She keeps me busy though. The child is into EVERYTHING! Yesterday all she seemed to do was whine ALL day. I was literally ready to pull my hair out! Let's hope today goes better.
Kevin is going to the doc today at some point. He was doing something at work yesterday and I think he may have cracked a rib or bruised something around it. He said it hurts and you can see a lump or swollen place. He kept touching it and he was saying how painful it was. I said "STOP TOUCHING IT THEN!!"lol Anyway I need to call him in a bit and check up on him. So really that's about all going on here. Have a great weekend!

Monday!!
This past weekend was pretty good. We did some shopping and got Brenden some new dressy shoes and Claire some new fall shoes. We also got Claire a new dress and a outfit. I just finished that last sentence and Claire came running from the kitchen yelling "Cheerios mommy!" I had left them on the counter and she grabbed the box and dropped it and a gazillion cheerios were all over the floor! lol *sigh* Those are all cleaned up now. Yesterday was church. The kids we taught in children's church were a little more rowdy than normal. I was constantly having to tell them to stop talking and be still. kids will be kids I guess! :-) Brenden is now at school. he was excited to go again. He wanted to take his lunch again today because they switched the menu around and today was spaghetti day when it was supposed to be last friday. I need to decide what to cook for dinner today and this evening I will hit the gym and that's about it!Just a few pics from yesterday...

Bye Jedi Janie!
I really hated to see Janelle get voted off Big Brother last night. Now it's Scaricka and Boogie the biggest jerk ever! I prefer Ericka to win over Boogie. I am just shocked that they are the last 2. That's crazy!!
So anyway Brenden is now at school. We were running a bit behind but I got him to school in plenty of time. I forgot I was making his lunch for school today so you should have saw me throwing his sandwhich together!lol They are having spaghetti today and he doesn't like spaghetti. I know he's weird! lol It only takes 5 mins to drive him to school anyway. It's about a mile or less from us. So anyway today Claire and I are just hanging out. I need to do a load of laundry and I may call and see if Kev wants to meet for lunch. This evening I will hit the gym and I guess that's really it. :-)

It really sucks....
to go to a public restroom and pee only to find there is NO toilet paper! I hate that! Damn it!
Oh and just to have this written somewhere my thyroid numbers were in the low side of the normal range. 0.82

Day 2!!
Brenden had such a good day at school yesterday. He was talkng a mile a minute in the car. He said his fav part was lunch and music class but that he really liked all of school. He wanted to walk in by himself this morning. That made me a little sad but glad that he wasn't scared to go in alone. Claire cried again as we drove off. She's gonna have to stop that!lol As I was driving off I could see Brenden in the rear view mirror still talking to the teacher that stands outside to watch over things. He is so funny and talkative and out-going. I have NO idea where he gets it from since Kevin and I aren't like that! *wink* So we got home and Claire is watching cartoons while I steal a few mins on the computer. Today we are supposed to get rain, rain, rain. Flash flood warnings are out and the temps for the next 2-3 days are gonna be like 70-73 or so. Very nice but if it's raining I won't be out in it except to go to the gym and I have to get my thyroid rechecked in the morning.As for BB7 I was so ticked last night! Do you know they showed FOOTBALL on our local station and no BB! I was SO irritated. Although I did see on a website what happened. I wish Erica would have went instead of Chicken George but her time is coming soon I think. Ok so here is hoping for no more preseason games in place of my BB7!!
