That was nice!
So Kev and I got (ran) away last night. We went out and had dinner. It was SO nice and relaxing. We went to a local owned place where the atmosphere is great and the food was even better. Afterwards we dropped by to see his dad and step-mom for a few mins. Kev was ready for dessert so we went to another local place around 8:30. He had apple pie, I had Gin and Tonic!lol Actually I had MIL come along with us. She's cool like that! :-) Anyway we got in about 9:30. It was just what we needed and we did enjoy ourselves very much.Of course we DVR'd AI and I had to watch it as soon as I got home.
Lakisha- Loved her!
Melinda- Always love her too! Kurt, you do know if you marry her, there will be NO NECKING!! LOL I crack myself up!
Gina- Perfect song for her, I love The pretenders anyway!
Haley- Pageant Queeen- Eh
Jordin- I thought she was cute and did fine.
Chris S- I think he will be heading out soon even if he is my hometown boy!
Chris R- You all know I love him and I thought he did good! I don't think he will win of ocurse though!
Blake- Snoozefest, I like him but he bored me
Phil- I thought he did great!! My fav of him so far! Still scary to look at though! lol
Sanjaya- Like Simon said, He's in his own universe. WTF?
Let me tell you this, I swore I would not tell anyone but it was funny! So I was sitting there and I said I want to get in a few votes for Chris R. (First time I have voted this season)So Kev says dial 1-866-idols-04. You have to remember I had like 3-4 alcoholic beverages in me. I wasn't drunk but I wasn't totally sharp to catch what he told me. So yes, I got like 10 votes in for SANJAYA! I just happened to look at the number as it redialed and I was like OMG! That's Sanjaya! I looked at Kev and he was giggling like a school girl. Really freaking funny! LOL So then I had to redial and vote for Chris R like 30 times to make sure I canceled out Sanjaya's votes. *sigh* So anyway Claire and I ran a few errands this morning. We have decided to take a weekend trip to Baltimore so I need to find a hotel for us to stay at. I love weekend get aways. I supposed I better check the weather too huh? Everyone have a great WEDNESDAY!!

Ugh!
So Sanjaya, Phil and Haley made it another week. Stephanie was very good but I am not shocked is gone. Melinda will win, anyone wanna place any bets? lolI need to call my doc, this damn Sciatic nerve is making me insane. I will be fine for a few days and today I am ready to rip the damn thing out. It relaly pisses me off. I guess PMS'ing doesn't help either. These M&M's do help a little bit. ;) Ok so I just wanted to post!

Haley- Eh but hey she's sexy, atleast that's what Kev thinks! lolMelinda- I love her but I wasn't as blown away as the judges last night
Lakisha- I love her and I love how she was dressed!
Gina- Not so great last night. i hope she sticks around though!
Jordin- LOVED her! I liked her best last night! WOW sister!
Stephanie- I think she is a doll and has a great voice but I always tend to forget that last girl. I actually had to think a min befor eI typed the 6th girl!

Hello (Echo echo echo)
Hello out there. I am in a funk today. I will put the kids in bed a 7:30 and bust out the Merlot I have calling for me. Brenden came home today telling me no one plays with him at recess. Of course that breaks my heart. Why would anyone not want to play with such a nice kid?! I did email his teacher. I know she can't do much about it but I asked if he was being rude to the other kids or how he interacts with them. I did call one of the mom's that has a son in his class. He came to Brenden's b-day party. So I set up a playdate for them Sat. He will come over here to play. I figured maybe they can get to know each other better. Of course I set it up at the time I go to a baby shower!lol So Kev will be the one left here!! BWAHAHAHA!!! Kevin has meetings tonight and tomorrow. Wed I am going out to get a few things for Easter baskets etc. Thurs Kev has to teach so I may have this whole bottle of wine gone by Friday, ok prob by tonight! lolOh and how about we had 75 degree weather on Wed last week and on Friday we got about 6 inches of snow! Is that crazy or what? My uncle was buried Friday. My brother told me the visitation was from 6:30-8:30 and they didn't close the funeral home till after 11 since there were so many people. I am not shocked by that. He was a much loved man. Everyone in the little town I grew up in knew him. He was such a sweet man. One of those people you can never say anything bad about. Ok well I just feel blah so come tell me a joke or make me feel better....PLEASE!! :-)

My dad's brother died in a car accident this morning. He and my dad were close although I wasn't very close to him but still loved him to pieces! Can you please keep his daughters and grandkids in your thoughts as well as the rest of the family?! Thanks! XOXORenee at 10:21 AM

Monday!
Well this weekend I went over and worked at the in-laws B&B. MIL's BIL passed away last Wednesday so she flew out of town. Everything went very smoothly. I enjoyed serving the guests and chatting with them. It was very weird not having my MIL there though. We tried to be very friendly and everyone enjoyed their stay but MIL just has the "charm" if that makes any sense. One of those people you can't help but like. Hopefully I will go see her Thurs or Fri and just hang out. It was nice just being away from the kids. I know that sounds horrible but it kinda gave me a chance to rejuvenate(even though I was working) and we had such a nice evening yesterday. I am really going to try to get Claire completely out of diapers this week. She is 2 yrs and almost 10 months old. I know "most" kids are trained by 3 yrs so that's my goal. I also got the forms to sign her up for preschool. How can my baby girl be old enough for that?!! She'll just go 2 days for 2 1/2 hrs each day. I won't know what to do with myself! LOL Anyway that's really about all going on. I was sad to see the lead singer of Boston died. I LOVE that group! Ok well off I go to pick up the house a bit and pull something out to thaw for dinner! Everyone have a great week!PS- I just realized I didn't post AI results. Antonella I was glad to see go but how the hell did Haley and Sanjaya get through?! This season better shape up quick or I may not watch........YEAH RIGHT!! ;)

AI- The girls
They totally blow the boys away. It's a girl's year this time!Jordin- I really like her. She is 17 and can sing like that....you go girl!
Sabrina- I think she sings well but she seems has no spark. She needs the "YO" factor!lol
Haley- Very pretty girl but she's going home tonight
Stephanie- I like her singing too. She seems like a sweetheart
Antonella- What the hell? This girl needs to pack up and head out. She is no where near as good as the other's yet she's still hanging on. I don't care for her attitude either.
Latisha- Girl can throw it down.
Gina- i like her. I hope she sticks around. I like that she is different. I don't think she is the best singer but I do like her.
Melinda- I LOVE her! Her singing is fabulous and I love how she is shy and seems so surprised that that big ol voice came out of her body! lol
Out of these girls I want Antonella and Haley gone. I think the rest deserve to go through.......so wha did you think?

That being said none of them blow me away. I like the girls SO much better and I think Melinda might win. That girl is fierce!

BLAH!!
It's been one of those days! My girlfriends are now gone and got back to Tn safely. Brenden who is usually very good at school got a bad note sent home. My sciatic nerve has decided to start bugging me again and worst of anything my MIL's BIL is very sick with cancer and not going to make it much longer. It's just awful. He is such a sweet man and I HATE that this is happening to him. I just don't understand life sometimes. So if you have any positive thoughts/prayers to send him and everyone who loves him that would be great! Kevin took the kids out for a while. I needed the alone time so badley. I did enjoy my friends being here emensly though! We stayed on the go and I just enjoyed seeing them. Of course now it makes me miss them TONS! So I just wanted to check in. MIL is flying out tomorrow and I will be helping at their B&B. I've missed working there. I need to try to go over there more but with guests in the mornings I hate taking Claire there since she is so wild! I am sure people like to eat in peace!lol Claire naps around 12 and then she is up at 2:30 and off we go to get Brenden. Sometimes it feels like there is not enough hours in the day. Does anyone ever feel that way? Ok I am just totally rambling on.PS- Kurt, I will post about AI soon! Are you watching this season?
