Packing is for the birds!
Anyone know any birds that want to come finish my packing?!lolI have my list but I still feel like I am forgetting something. Oh well if we do I guess we can just go out and buy whatever we forget, unless it's the kids we forget!lol I also am getting the house picked up and cleaned. I hate hate hate coming home to a dirty house. We also have a neighbor kid coming over this evening to show him what we need him to do as far as taking care of Samson and Shultzie. We were gonna take Shultzie to the Kennel but having this kid come over is cheaper and I think Shultzie would like being at home better. Kevin is going to laugh at me when I tell him I am leaving the TV on for the animals. Should I leave it on Animal Planet? ;-) This morning I ran out to get MORE snacks for the car since I totally ate all the twizzlers already. We stopped in over at the inlaws to say hello and goodbye till we see them in 10 days or so. I am sure MIL will think of me while she is having her nice red wine while I am stuck with my mom who think's alcohol is SIN! *sigh* Ok enough of this I need to get back to work. Who's coming to help?!
Maybe I will check in while I am gone but my mom has DIALUP and I am not sure if I want to spend hour on a 10 sentence post!lol

I got nothing done today! BEDAZZLED My sister told me about it and I have played till my arm hurts. I did manage to make dinner though. That has to count for something right? Right?Renee at 7:02 PM

I hate packing for vacation. I will leave it at that!lolWe are heading out to North Carolina early friday morning. I am so excited to go! This weekend was good. Nothing too exciting but it was good. Brenden is making me crazy this morning. It's all about his smart mouth. Can I duct tape it shut?!lol I just had to call the doc to get my thyroid meds refilled. I also made Brenden's kindergarten physical appointment. I wonder what they will do? Also I have been invited to go on a beach trip over Labor day weekend with my best friend and some other friends. I think I am going. Kevin didn't think it would be a prob and he'll have to see if he can get a couple days off since he'll be home with the kiddos. I just need to get over my fear of flying. I guess it's nothing that a couple Bloody Mary's won't cure huh?!lol
Oh and don't buy your vacation snacks for the car too soon, they may get eaten before the trip!:-)

This week sure is flying by! VBS is still going good. It's fun but some of the kids in our class just won't listen. We have one kid who we have to tell him to sit down or to be quiet and he will just look at you and ignore you. Makes me nuts!lol He's a sweet kid though for the most part. I've met a couple new people from church (they are our helpers) and that has been really cool. Tonight we eat at church so I am happy about that. We have been getting home a little after 9 and the kids are like vombies when we get in the car. Needless to say we don't have any probs getting them to bed.This weekend I need to start making lists of what we need to take on vacation. We are leaving next friday and staying for the week. I am still waiting to hear from a friend if they can watch the dog. If not, I need to call the Kennel. Oh! Yesterday the kids and I went to Target to get a few things for VBS. All the summer clothes are mostly on clearance. I got an outfit there thatI had seen before and I loved but wasn't willing to spend 20$ on for Claire (She grows to quick), I got the outfit for 5.00$!! She looks SO cute in it too. I also got Brenden a couple shirts really cheap. Ok I need to run and unload the dishwasher!

1 down, 4 to go!!
First night of VBS went great. Well Kevin came home with a migraine about 4 so I called the head of VBS and all was fine. He stayed home and we just had one of the teenage boys fill in for him. We had 20 kindergarteners in our group. They were all pretty good. There is one little boy who doesn't go to church. I am trying to show him love but for some reason he picked my son to be his punching bag. After a couple times of me telling him we don't hit and to apologize he stopped and then wanted to be with Brenden the rest of the night and they got along fine. I think the other kindergarten group went well too. Tonight we are having supper at church which is nice. Our church is very close to Kev's work so he will just meet us there. It's really hot here again today. Heat advisory will go into effect later today. Oh and I slept like crap last night. I kept dreaming that all those kids were at the VBS registration table and I kept messing stuff up or when I told them to make 2 lines they'd all mesh together and I couldn't figure stuff out. I woke up 2 times and had to get up to get tylenol one time. God bless all the kindergarten teachers everywhere!!!Renee at 10:15 AM

VBS week.....
Tonight starts VBS. It is sure to be a fun week. Brenden is so excited. Kevin is the kindergarten leader and I am the kindergarten secretary and I'll be helping with our group as well. We have to be there at 6 but it starts at 6:30 and is over at 8:45. I am sure the kids will conk right out when they get home. Tuesday and Thursday we will be having supper at church. The youth are doing it to raise money for the new youth center we are building. Anyway we had a nice weekend. We went out to TGIFriday's for dinner last night. I like it just fine but it's not a fav. It's at the mall so it's easy. Kevin went on a Audi cruise yesterday. Just some people from the Audi club met and drove for a couple hours yesterday. Today is gonna be a hot one. Temp's in the high 90's and heat index of like 103. So I think we will be hanging out inside today. I have laundry to do and I think I will do hot dogs for dinner tonight. Quick and easy so we can eat and get out of here!

So yesterday was a good day. I took the kids out to the park to play and we then went to a local petting zoo. The kids loved it but god the smell just about killed me! YUCK!lol So it was fun and I actually made dinner last night. My throat is sore on the left side now. I feel like I am falling apart!! Maybe it's just allergies. The headaches are pretty much gone so that's good. I just have achy shoulders and neck now. Hmmmmmmm
Last night Kevin and I watched "Failure to Launch". It wasn't as bad as I expected. How can it be though when you have a Matthew McConaughey in it. He's not my fav actor but he has a hot body and the accent makes me melt! I was having Kevin call me "darlin" in his best southern drawel but he doesn't have it. He's a true Californian!lol This morning he is gone to look at a car for a friend from our church. Hopefully he will be home by lunch so we can go do something fun!:-) Hope you all have a great weekend too!:-)

The Lands End "thongs" that I got are SO comfy! I have worn both pair already and LOVE them!
As for headaches, I looked on the computer and think I just don't drink enough water. It sounds like a dehydration headache, better when you lay down but when you stand it throbs and hurts like a beotch! Makes your muscles ache too which I am having some of that. So I am gonna start drinking more water and see how that goes. I woke up feeling not great but I have had a couple glasses of water and some excedrine and am feeling some better now. The doc is calling something in for me as well! So we'll see how this goes.
Yesterday I found out my twin brother and his girlfriend are having a baby and due in Feb. Without getting too much into it I am sick about it. They can't take care of themselves but will bring a baby into their mess. UGHHH
Ok I am off to make Banana bread, I think!lol

Headache, headache go AWAY!!
So I have had headaches off and on all week. I got another bad one last night. It's just not like me. I am one to never get headaches and now I am getting them. I woke up with a slight one this morning. Hopefully it won't get any worse through the day. UGHHH
Yesterday I took the kids to the park to play and feed the ducks. They were pretty excited about that. On the way home I called the inlaws to see about visiting for a little while. We al decided togo get something to eat so off we went for a late lunch. It was good and noce to spend time with them. Not long after I got home did the headache start really kicking in. Kevin got home and I went to bed. I felt better laying there but everytime I went to stand up my head would just start throbbing. Not a nice feeling in the least! If it comes back today like that then I think I may call the doc. Ok, time to go make some JAVA! :-)

Monday!
Well that was a busy weekend! Yesterday we had church in the morning. Got home to let Claire nap and was gone at 2:30 to get to the cookout. We stopped on the way and got a 6 pack to take along. There were about 15 of us there. We had a really good time. I had a couple Margarita's which were REALLY good but gave me a banging headache. We got home after 6. I eventually had to go lay down since my headache got so bad. Kevin gave the kids a bath and they were in bed at 7 and 7:30. I know they were tired from going so much this weekend. Kev and I went to sleep about 9. That is the earliest we have been to bed in ages. So it was a good weekend, apart from the headache! This morning I have gotten some laundry done and the beds are made etc... I need to figure out what I want to cook for dinner so I can get something thawed. So that's me!Oh and to the person in Conyers, Ga. that keeps finding me through blogger by putting in Renee Brenden, I think it would be much easier and faster to put me on your favs!;-) Drop in and say Hi sometimes too!:-)

Car show and a boobie hat...
We took off early this morning to a all German car show. Of course that means lots of VW's and Audi's which are right up our alley. We saw some awesome cars but one thing that caught my eye was a 60ish year old man wearing a boobie hat. I got SO cracked up. I thought of a few guy friends that would have gotten a kick out of it, well atleast a feel!lol It looked like this but the bikini top was tropical patterned.
I have a few pics from the show but the camera is D.O.A as of right now. We had a good time and the kids hung in there with us really well. The show was about an hour or so from home. On the way home we came across a large strip mall. I found a couple of cute Ralph Lauren Polo tops for myself. I got a few other things as well. My bag that I carry my stuff and diapers for Claire ( I don't care for diaper bags) decided to fall apart. One of the straps just came off. So I got another really cute bag. I grabbed a Vanilla Cappucino to sip on the way home. Shopping and coffee....now that's what makes this girl happy!lol So now we just need to give the kids a bath and get them to bed. We have a movie to watch tonight if we can stay awake to watch it! Tomorrow is busy too. We have church and then a grill out at Kev's boss's house. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Happy Birthday daddy....
It will be weird not calling and singing to him today. I would always get giggly and sing "and many more, I hope you score!!" at the end of the birthday song. He'd always laugh and tell me how silly I am. I got it from him. From my talkative nature to my cheek bones. He loved to laugh like I do too. I remember he had such a boisterous laugh. I could get cracked up just listening to him laugh. Those are things I miss, how he laughed and how he would email me about the slightest thing he found funny. I miss him. I miss everything about him. I don't want to miss him. Sometimes I can't stand to even think of him being gone. This was a man that when I was a child I believed as long as he was around everything would be fine. I always felt secure. Now that man is gone. Ok I am gonna stop this post here. It's way to heavy for my heart.Happy Birthday daddy!! I love you!

Snaggle.....
Brenden's tooth came out today. Well it was just hanging on by a thread and Kevin helped him get it out the rest of the way. Brenden was a little scared for Kev to pull it but he is REALLY wanting the tooth fairy money!
I felt a little sad. The tooth that came out is the first tooth he got. I am such a mom!

More pics...Oh goodie!!
Ok so we went over to the inlaws where we had a huge 4th of July party. It was really fun! Good food, good drinks and good conversation! It helped that Kevin took over chasing the kids all night so I could knock back some brew. We bought a couple six packs so of course I got my favorite Molson. Anyway we forgot to take pics while we were there but here are a few of us. I know it's too exciting huh?!lolBrenden thought the 4th of July was the birth of July, Hmmm OoooKkkkk
She was tired when we got home but I had to get her picture. She wasn't too happy with her damn mommy!

Fireworks....
We took the kids over to see the fireworks tonight. We parked in the mall parking lot and had dairy queen blizzards while we watched. It was really cool and the kids just sat there in amazement. So here are a few pics.....

Back to normal...
Well not really sure I have ever been normal but hey whatever!lol My girlfriends left this morning. Usually I am kinda sad when they leave but today I was actually teary when they left. We just had such an awesome week and I think PMS is setting in! Uh-Oh, watch out!lol We were on the go most of the time they were here. We all went out for breakfast this morning and as soon as Claire went down for her nap so did Kev and I. Brenden just vegged out with a computer game. We went out a little earlier to wash my car and run a couple errands. Kev has to mow later and I need to get groceries at some point. I think we have nursery at church tomorrow so we'll go to both services. We haven't been at church in like 3 weeks and people have been calling to make sure something didn't happen!lol Nice to be missed though. So I have laundry going and the house needs some TLC. What I really want is a glass of red and a bubble bath. I think that will definitely be on schedule for this evening! It will be cool to hang out with Kevin too. I felt like we haven't seen much of each other this week! Toodles!Oh and check out the new "thongs" I ordered this morning. My friend had a pair and I loved them. So I got blue and pink.....
